Who We Are
You may have heard of a birthing Doula or midwife. They provide support and assist folks laboring life into the world. Well, an End- of -Life Care Specialist / Death Doula helps individuals labor out of this world. We can provide a wide variety of support services for people who have a chronic or terminal illness, people seeking to have a clear plan for their end of life journey, or folks nearing the end of life and require comfort care and so much more.
We can help educate what happens to the body at the end of life and what to expect during this process in hopes of reducing fear and the unknown. We will assist individuals and families consider specific customized options to empower and help individuals make peace with their circumstances and lessen the burden on those left behind.
We can also help educate about different burial options from traditional to green and everything in between. We also provide respite care. We provide comfort care such as Reiki, to help with pain management and reduce stress. In addition, help plan an Advanced Care Directive and /or Legacy Project. We can also participate in the active vigil process of the dying and are on call for this.
When life becomes dark and scary there are two types of people in this world- those who run away, and those who run towards. We are the ones you call in the impossible times…We do not fear death but hope to empower you to not fear it either. Just as birth can be hard, scary and full of unknowns, so is death; none of us will escape it; so my hope and mission is to bring hope and light and share the beauty in these tender moments. I’m so honored to do this sacred work.

I am specifically trained in this practice and I use this method of healing with my patients to lower stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure and cortisol in the body, and lessen chronic pain and reduce inflammation throughout the body . In addition, my patients have reported better sleep, lifted moods for longer periods of time and reported to have over all higher quality of life after receiving these treatments.

Many Reiki clients are young, active, healthy individuals looking to add holistic treatments into their lifestyle. Many athletes and individuals recovering from surgery or other injuries often use Reiki Treatment to lessen down time, speed up recovery and improve pain, soreness and stiffness.

I am also a certified End of Life Care Specialist and certified Advanced Reiki Practitioner. One of the most important ways we can assist our patients and their families is through advocacy. The medical community can often times be overwhelming and disconnected to say the least. It is my job to help assist and support my patients in asking the hard questions. Having conversations with patients and their families about how they would like their last few months to look. It is my job to navigate the inter complexities in communications between hospitals, palliative care, hospice and more. As well as execute their wishes to the best of my abilities.

What is reiki and why is it used?
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, a type of Natural and Holistic medicine. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" or life force is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.
- It is used to reduce stress, anxiety, lower cortisol and blood pressure.
- It is used to reduce chronic pain and inflammation.
